Learning and Development

We are committed to helping you develop and succeed in your role – and will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need. As such, you will have your own Personal Development and Performance (PDP) system, which will:

  • identify and progress your development needs, so you can increase your job satisfaction, have confidence in your direction and purpose, and contribute fully to Local Partnerhips' success
  • provide structured feedback on your performance and development
  • ensure that Local Partnerhips business plan is achieved, by aligning your objectives with ours
  • recognise your individual contribution to the work of Local Partnerhips

Your line manager will formulate your own personal PDP with you each spring, with a mid year review in the autumn. The PDP management system is supported by an improved competency framework, implemented in spring 2007, which sets the behavioural and technical standards expected from all staff in Local Partnerhips.
